After 11 years of seeing patients in more general private practice settings, Dr. Jordan McAmmond founded Core Physical Therapy in 2012 in order to provide a more tailored, one-on-one treatment approach geared toward the goal-oriented, highly motivated individual.




JORDAN MCAMMOND, MPT, DPT, USAT-C
Jordan’s passion for living an active lifestyle began at a young age as an age group swimmer. She went on to swim in a Division I program while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Maryland. She continued on to receive her master's and then doctorate degrees in physical therapy from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She has now been a clinician for over 20 years, working with patient populations ranging from Olympic-bound athletes to aging adults struggling with balance deficits. She coaches triathletes and runners of all ages as well as age-group swimmers. Her passion for helping others obtain and maintain a healthy, injury-free lifestyle has carried over into her own aspirations as an endurance athlete. She has competed in multiple marathons and 21 Ironmans as well as competing at the national and professional level for 2 years, ranging in a variety of distances. Most recently, Jordan completed a Kona world championship qualifier and has been a well Boston Marathon qualifier multiple time.
