JORDAN MCAMMOND, MPT, DPT, USAT-C
Jordan’s passion for living an active lifestyle began at a young age as an age group swimmer. She went on to swim in a Division I program while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Maryland. She continued on to receive masters then doctorate degrees of physical therapy from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She has now been a clinician for over 14 years, working with patient populations ranging from the Olympic bound athlete to the aging adult struggling with balance deficits. She coaches triathletes and runners of all ages as well as age-group swimmers. Her passion for helping others obtain and maintain a healthy, injury-free lifestyle has carried over into her own aspirations as an endurance athlete. She has competed in 15 marathons and 9 Ironmans as well as competing in multiple distances on national and world teams.
After 11 years of seeing patients in more general private practice settings, Dr. Jordan McAmmond founded Core Physical Therapy in 2012 in order to provide a more tailored, one-on-one treatment approach geared toward the goal oriented, highly motivated individual.
